Where to mine each tier of resource, how often nodes respawn, and what they unlock down the crafting tree.

Resources not respawning?
Asteroid belts respawn on a per-instance timer (~5 min), but planet veins only respawn when no player is within 200 m. If a vein looks dead, fly to orbit, wait one full minute, then return. Server restarts also force a full pass.
Mining laser overheating
Pulse the laser 4–5 seconds on, 1 second off. MK3 lasers add a heat sink slot — fitting two heat sinks raises sustained mining time by ~60%.
